With over 14 years as a professional club DJ, Mike Blades is a seasoned veteran when it comes to keeping crowds at their peak all night long. And his success in the trance scene went international early 2009, with the launch of his weekly trance show, Hypnotic Edge, which is a 2 hour show featuring the latest trance and progressive tracks from around the world

Armed with a record bag full of the latest tunes from some of the genre's biggest artists, including Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, Alex Morph and many more, plus the skills, knowledge and experience to read a crowd and provide the perfect song at the right time. Mike Blades will again be leading the way for this seasons music style -- Predicted to be heavily percussion based with haunting vocals, driving bass lines, monster electronic riffs and "hands in the air" musical melodies. Mike Blades has his finger firmly on the pulse of what's hot in the world of trance right now.

Mike Blades has evolved his track selection, audio mixing and microphone technique whilst working in many venues all over Australia. His sets are innovative, original and highly energetic, a fact that has led Mike to play alongside Australia's best DJ's including: Peewee Ferris, Nik Fish, Yoshi, BeXta, Jumping Jack, Stafford Brothers, and countless more. And now Mike Blades is going into the production studio to create his own brand of trance music, encompassing a familiar feel and energetic vibe.
